Line of chocolate

man snorting chocolateAccording to  a recent "Strange News" article on livescience.com, Snorting cocoa has been made so much easier. Yes, cocoa... in powder form, has been made more easily snortable thanks to Belgian chocolatier, Dominique Persoone and his chocolate line company. Based off of his Grandfathers old  sniffing device which he would use to assist in snorting other non-chocolate substances, Persoone developed  his very own chocolate shooter with two spoons that shoot using springs. While the ability to distinguish flavors by taste is very limited, the human nose can apparently detect up to 1 trillion distinct scents and considering this, this cocoa-head has sold over 25,000 of these things. Along with chocolate powder, Persoone and his colleagues provide jars of dry mint and ginger powders to help open the nostrils so the good stuff can get up in there. This whole idea was originally intended to be a joke for a Rolling stones party Persoone and his people were catering but blew up to be far more popular. And though many "science people" like ear, nose, throat and sinus specialist, Dr. Joshephson in NYC believe that snorting foreign powders or substances like drugs and chocolate is "dangerous" or "damaging," I'm sure there are far more scientific studies to suggest that they're just hatin. Google it. In his own words, Persoone states that consuming chocolate releases chemicicals in the brain that produces feelings similar to the ones felt "after an orgasm."... his words and he also makes it clear that his device is just for fun and that he does not condone drug use. so what if hes in love with the cocoa?

The Mouse-Box includes a 1.4GHz CPU and 128GB of storage

New Mouse box PC!

A Gizmag article in January describes a new compact PC in the form of a mouse. Polish engineers, have designed a normal, pocket-sized mouse which also happens to work as a fully functional and portable computer. All that is required for the mouse to work is some sort screen or monitor and it also helps to have a keyboard, of course. Though it is still a prototype, the mouse a 1.4GHz dual-core ARM CPU, 128GB of storage, two USB 3.0 ports, a micro-HDMI output, and  Wi-Fi connectivity, and  as of now just needs funding and a manufacturing partner to help in producing them. On top of this, the Company is working on a mouse-pad to double as a charger for the Mouse Box.

Actroids

A Dutch-themed amusement park in Nagasaki Japan, Huis Ten Bosch, is expected to open a two-story hotel run by a partially robotic staff by July 17th of 2015 and doors that may be opened using facial recognition technology instead of keys, if the guest prefers that. The Henn na Hotel, (Japanese for "strange hotel") will likely assign regular work such as, assisting guests, cleaning rooms, front desk services and other tasks to lower labor costs and to draw in business. These "Actroids," as they are called will be able to speak, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and English. These robots, which were developed by the Osaka University in Japan and manufactured by Kokoro, the Japanese Robotics company, can alongside there labor capabilities, imitate certain human eye movements and facial expressions in a possibly, somewhat disturbing fashion. Regardless, the creators seem confident that this could be the future of hotel and other services in Japan and the rest of the world and single rooms will start at about ¥7000  per night(about $60 US dollars)

my summer break

Over the summer I will most likely be staying home relaxing. The summer for me is usually just a time for me to be 10 times as lazy as I would normally be; playing WoW, eating crap, and sleeping. If not, I would probably be in Florida trying to do the same thing- that is, if I can get my family to leave me alone. though I do enjoy hanging out with my family, sometimes I like to get them off my back so I canenjoy being pathetic and lazy.
